Talk about HOT. While the Tagalong (and the Kelty models) are made well also, the Piggyback has a compartment for a Camelbak bladder -- huge selling point here in the dry highlands. I purchased an REI Piggyback last June, after my first “real” hike with a Mei Tai (front) and Camelbak (back) together. Talk about HOT.

While the Tagalong (and the Kelty models) are made well also, the Piggyback has a compartment for a Camelbak bladder — huge selling point here in the dry highlands. Then again, it’d be a bonus in your hot, sticky part of the country, too!
