By the way, if you’ll note the roundness of Little Miss’ cheeks, and the slight double-chin…

…you can see that she’s definitely catching up from last month’s illness.

Maya received a rocking chair as a gift from her great-Granny, and was in awe that this new chair was for her — all for her! It’s still just a tad big for her to back up and sit on it. She climbs into it, coming to a stand holding onto the back, then invariably rocks it while standing (just to make my heart stop) before turning around and sitting down.

Wherever Maya may be in the house, as soon as she hears the opening notes to the ending song to Blue’s Clues she runs into the room to tell Steve (or Joe) goodbye. You can’t say that my child isn’t a good hostess…
