Why does this baby seem so content?

Ah, a cutie teenage boy is seranading my baby girl…yeah, I liked listening to him too, Babycakes!

Maya finally decided the Exersaucer is not only NOT an instrument of torture, but possibly also a load of fun!

I am about one more major household “accident” away from finding homes for my dogs. I love my dogs, really I do. But when I got them 4 (Clay) and 4-1/2 (Katie) years ago, I had no plans for being a single mom.
Maya has napped roughly one hour (if that) each day yesterday and today, and I’ve spent time that I had no business spending fixing a leak under Scott’s tenant’s sink.
Maya finally went to bed, and I got to take a bath.
Got out of the bath…now I’m pouring about a gallon worth of Nature’s Miracle on my (less than one year old) carpet and going to bed. The dogs are in their crates, and Clay (who’s accustomed to sleeping at the foot of my bed under the covers) will whine like a little girl, but I don’t care. They’re sleeping in their crates…not that either of them has anything left IN THEM, but I’m angry enough that I don’t want them in my bed.
I’m pissed, I’m frustrated, I’m crying, and I’m turning into one of “those” awful people. Sigh.

Could anything be sweeter? Well, maybe a nap that lasted longer than 10 minutes…grin.

To the intelligent man or woman, life appears infinitely mysterious. But the stupid have an answer for every question.

Somehow, I slammed a strap from Version 1.0 in the car door — it was ripped clean off as if someone had used scissors on it. Oops. I sold version 2.0 without taking any pictures of it. Seriously, a gal at Pei Wei liked it enough, when I told her I was making them, her response was, “can I just buy that one?” Even after I told her I had some changes to make to it, she still wanted that one. Yay! Here’s V3.0:
I’ve padded the shoulders a bit, and lengthened both the waist and shoulder straps from v2.0. As you can see, the shoulder straps are probably a *tad* too long on this one. While the bow is very CUTE, I doubt any dad would want to use it this way!
I bought the green material after finding it on the sale rack from walmart, then went on the hunt to find deco fabric to go with it. Yes, yes…I know leopard print has been in for long enough that it’s on its way out, but I love the way it turned out!
I’d used a ring sling for post-workout dinner, and then used this for a quick grocery shop before returning home. I’ve gotta say, this is TONS more comfortable than the sling could ever be!

On Monday evenings, Maya gets to spend a few hours with her grandparents — QUALITY TIME!
